Heated Hair Straightener Brush and Smoothing Hot Comb

I have thick hair with 3a curls. My hair gets straightened 3x a year when I go get my hair done, because when I do it, it takes a good 30 minutes to blow it dry and anywhere from 45 mins to an hour to flat iron. After all that time, I'm sweating my idiomatic balls off, my hair doesn't look as good as when I leave the salon, and there are always dents in my hair. 27 days ago I bought this because it went viral on tik tok and fb. Well, it lived unopened under my sink this whole time because its hot outside, and straightening hair is hot, and that combo is dumb. Anyway, the return window was about to close, so I tried it tonight just in case it sucked as I expected it to. Well, it does NOT suck. Is it a game changer? Kinda. It almost cut the straightening time in half to 30 mins. I did go over each strand a time or two and I took my time. Not having to rush is a rarity with small children. They were magically sleeping, so I made sure to take advantage by dawdling to my heart's content. I paused to sip my drink and check my phone, blah, blah. I'm sure I have dents in my hair somewhere, but I don't see them now and that, in and of itself, is impressive. I didn't need the glove, and I was impressed with how close to the scalp you can get. I am pleased to announce that I will not be returning this product, and it will live under the sink the with the rest of my hair tools I rarely use, because who has that much time to do their hair? Not this tired lady. But, if I get a wild hair up my ass in the future, and want to straighten my hair 4x in one year instead if 3, it'll come in handy.

This works really well and straightens super quickly. It maybe takes my hair 10 minutes, total. I have wavy, short, course and thick hair. The only thing is that it sometimes it has a hard time gripping onto my hair. I think that may be due to the fact that I thinned my hair out too much recently. I love that you can't really burn your hands on this tool, at all! This would be great for someone who is younger that is just starting out styling their hair or someone experienced too.

I’ve had this hair straightener for over three years now so I feel it’s finally time to write a review first and foremost. It works great. I love it disclaimer though I use several heat tamers before even putting this thing in my hair and I also use the air Bliss Timo blow dryer, which is an ionic one and I love it so the products I used where the very popular color while John Frida and extra strength and the Taraji P Henson, he tamers I blow dry my hair first after washing it and then I use this hair straightener and it straightened my hair and only two passes. My entire hair routine took only three hours 30 minutes to blow dry and the rest is just making sure that it was straightened to my liking. The grip is great. It does not slip out of my hand and the contour of the buttons makes it so that you don’t accidentally turn it off. Definitely takes way less time than when I used to use a regular flat iron, which would take pretty much an entire day it also is a great size for travel. I would definitely recommend.

Easy to use, love the heat options. I have 4C type hair (yes my afro girls pay attention). I have been mishandling my natural hair for awhile due to busy work schedule and covidlazziness (no its not a word but...). I had the Tymo brush which I did love and became comfortable using it but like other afro girls it didn't straighten my ENDS!!, and it didn't last long straightend. By time I was done with one section the previous section was getting puffy. So I looked into other products Tymo had. I seen the comb but then started having flashbacks to the 'old skool' way our grandmothers and mothers used a hot comb to straighten our heads and I got scared and didn't want to get it so I searched the reviews, specifically looking for pics of women 'like me' to see what they said about it working on my type of hair. Thank you to all the WOC who posted their reviews and with PICS, it helped me make my decision to purchase the comb.So I finally used it today 11.11.2020 around 2am, I was still using the discontinued brush because I knew how to use it and was comfortable with it,, but it crackles so im returning it so i took the plunge and finally used the comb....boy what a mistake. The ease of using it and how quickly it straightened my hair took me buy surprise. I found myself doing my hair and watching Judge Judy episdoes on YouTube. Before I knew it 1 section of 4 was done, probably took 30min. It seems to be keeping the straightened form to much of my surprise as the brush didn't do that for me. I have it on the highest settings dur to my hair type and only had to take maybe 3 passes to get it straightened to my liking.I took a star off because it doesn't have the lock feature I am use to so I'm not accidently hitting and changing the temp. I love the auto off feature as I get distracted easily and like the security that it will turn itself off after some time. I also like how quickly it gets to the temp you need. And extra bonus I don't get that constant smoky smell like it's burning my hair even though it's bone dry with no products. With having no products in my hair I'm surprised how shiny it looks. I think by being able to make my hair manageable for myself I will be able to take care of it easier, but I know I will go back occasionally to my afro puff, twist out 4C styles cuz ain't nothing like it.I posted pics of 1/2 done and the other not. I did not put any preheat products in my hair. I worked with a wash and air dried hair from a day ago. Hope the pics and my review will help others in making their decision on this product.Completely finished and I love the finished product. Hair is silky, shiny, and looks good. Again no products put in before doing this and the hair was washed and air dried the day before. Definitely will be using this item again.

I needed to straighten my hair, which hadn't been straightened since February 2020.This tool delivered. It was thoughtful to provide a heat protection glove. The device heated quickly, and the directions really helped you utilize the straightener.Tip: make sure you get all the knots out of your hair because this gadget will rip them right out, and use a heat protector.This hair lasted a week in the Smoky Mountians in June.

The quality was great, the bundle was awesome, and the tool was easy to use. But, I am someone who loves straightening their hair to "stick straight" which looks glossy and sleek. This tool did not accomplish that, unfortunately. The side on the left is the TYMO "brush" and the right is my go-to straightener/flat iron. I gave a 4/5 because I do like the quality of the tool and the price point. This allowed me to work in larger sections but in the end only resulted in about 15 minutes of saved time which wasn't much as I went ahead and passed the flat iron through my hair on the right side and then on the left after the picture. I read elsewhere that this gives off a naturally straight appearance ,not like a flat iron, but someone who naturally has straight hair which I can agree with (thus, if this is the look you are going for, then this might be for you). I do not like that you cannot get your ends looking straight as this makes your hair look more frizzy and "damaged" even if it isn't. The tool is also quite heavy which may not suite those who have issues holding heavy objects for extended periods of time. I am not completing knocking the product but I want readers to have a more representative picture of what you will actually get from the tool. Again, for the price, it might be worth a try. Just keep in mind that the results do not compare to a standard flat iron "press". For reference, I have medium thickness hair that naturally has loose curls. I also blow dried my hair before using the TYMO tool. I hope this review is helpful to those still on the fence about it. :-)

Long honest review...Hairtype- 3c curly hair, lots n thickNormally brushes like this do not work that well on curly/coily hair without prepping ur hair firstWell, you dont have to w this brush and I love it. I usually blow dry/rollers and flat iron my hair and it takes over 2 hours. This cuts the time in half and almost same smoothness, hair looks shiny and healthy. Now I would say that you must get in there to smooth close to the roots lol. Oh and I used the mid heat level in the front and 4th level in the back, so not even the hottest which is for curly/kinky hair. It turns off after 30 minutes so had to turn it on again which is ok, is for safety. Only 4 stars because I just got it so Idk how long my hair will last or product functioning well after more uses. So far I love it and will continue to use when I want a break from my curls lol

I have THICK curly hair and when it is brushed out it is a bush for sure-lol! I have flat irons, hot brush, large cylinder curing iron a brush hair dryer w/ ionizer and one without. My go to products are made by Chi. But I thought I would give this product a try. It does straighten, but for my hair with product in it it took a few passes. Even then, I was not getting the super refined, shiny straight look. I think if one has finer hair they will achieve that look, but people with thick curly hair like mine..it is going to take some work. Took 20 mins to get a straighter version of my hair and that was at the hottest setting. Obviously the less bunch of hair one takes will straighten it..but for my hair even with that I had to do it about 4 times..It was straight, but still frizzy. That is why I gave it 4 stars..as based on the product pic and video one would think their hair will come out perfectly straight. I will play with it some more..naybe with more product I will get finer results.

very easy to use, cuts down hair, straightening by the least 80% it’s everything that it states and more. Glad I purchased this but I am a bit upset that I waited so long to do so! I’m not sure what hair type I have but one of the photos is after I just did a soft blow dry and then you can see half of my hair that I use the straightening brush it is amazing. My hair felt smooth, weightless, shiny and healthy 10/10

My son has combination 4b/4c. Because old straightener stopped working I ordered this on a Thursday night so I could get to work on Friday afternoon. This straightener did not disappoint!!!After washing I did not blow dry, I went immediately to a thermal protectant & after 3 passes through small sections of his hair, it was dried & straightened at the SAME DAMN TIME!!! (Shot up to working smarter, not harder!)The 2nd picture is to show how much easier it was to trim his split ends! The heating controls + thermal protection = no damage to his thick & healthy hair!The 3rd picture is really for context on how manageable his hair was after this process!

I love this new straightener. I was super skeptical about trying another brush straightener after all of the letdown I've had from the previous couple I had tried. After a friend of mine and my sister both separately told me about this awesome new straightener they found out about literally a day apart I decided I had to look this bad boy up on instantly. Lol. Luckily for me, the day I looked it up, it also just happened to be on sale! I took that as a good omen and bought it right then. I have long, curly, super frizzy hair naturally and with all of my past straighteners, it would always take me at the very minimum, an hour to do my whole head(and the back of head is shaved up to the top of my ear), even my Chi one took an hour- hour and a half. This lovely little gem on the other hand, the longest amount of time I've spent doing my hair is maybe 20 minutes, and that's only because of how crazy I am about making sure it looks perfect, I've had my head done in 10 minutes at the quickest... AMAZING! The temp gets hot enough and it feels very durable. It beats up so quickly! They weren't lying about the minute heat up time. It's on the smaller side but that doesn't stop it from doing an amazing job on my thick hair as the pictures show. The only downsides it seems to have are the fact that it does sometimes pull a little bit of hair that I then have to pull out of it but that's not a big deal for me and I wish you could lock the buttons on it while you are doing your hair. I hit the buttons all of the time(I've done the same with every other one I've ever owned that didn't lock also). I'm not sure who to blame the button hitting on, their design or my inability to put my fingers in the right spots to stop hitting them. Lol. All in all though, definitely buy this! All of the good things you've heard about this awesome new helper are totally true. You will NOT regret buying this! I bought my sister one for Christmas after the first time I tried it. Lol.

OMG!!!! I just received this from and I just had to try it immediately. My hair was all frizzy and curly and knotted. I have ridiculously thick hair! All I had to do was brush out the knots and pass the TYMO comb through a couple of times and my hair was soft silky and totally straight! This whole thing took me no more than 5 minutes to do my whole head. And this isn't even me trying. I have to wash my hair let it air dry and do it again on fresh clean hair and I can't wait! I was totally hesitant when I saw the advertisements about this I said it cannot be real, but when I tried it on the first pass all I could say was holy s***!You don't feel the heat you could put it right against your roots there's a guard there and your hair doesn't feel hot. It comes with a glove but you don't need it. It also comes with a cute brush and some clips which are useful. Don't hesitate to buy this product you're going to be blown away!

This is gotta be the absolute best straightener I have ever used. It straighten your hair so well you don’t need anything with this item and it kept me straight for days. It works quite quickly. It’s lightweight the sizes perfect. It’s very durable and it works like a dream. Just look at my photo. My hair is so straight and beautiful.

I have thick curly hair, and this was so easy to use and worked as promised! I even let my hair air dry to test it out. I LOVE the outcome and loved the fact that I could get close to my scalp and hands without accidentally burning myself. It was fast and efficient. I used to spend hours getting my hair straight. Because it has these pink little dots on it that don’t help with touching the hair. I feel the glove would be more useful if those were removed from the design. The glove is supposed to be worn in the hand touching the hair not the one holding the Tymo so for me it was a dissapointment to touch my hair and have it against that glove. So i don't use it at all.THE clips that come with the Tymo i do love!! They are great, amazing hold!The tymo bag to put the brush in is cute. And made of a really nice material.The little detangling brush is not bad. I use it, not amazing but nice to have. I would of changed the bristle.
